Arakiba is dark-skinned with black hair that doesn't quite touch his shoulders, and while being straight, is often so scruffy it appears wavy. He appears in his early 30s and is incredibly energetic, sharing a similar sense of humour and love of jokes as Kashdejan, and he is arguably the Angel in Baraqyal's group who feels the closest connection to humans. His wings are the colour of clouds just before a storm, with shadings of darker grey markings.

As Prefect of this group, Baraqyal was chosen for his temperament and leadership skills. He feels responsibility keenly, which may sometimes make him seem distant or aloof, but he values friendship and the company of his companions above anything. He seems in his late 30s and has darkly tanned skin with reddish-brown hair which falls past his shoulders, although it is often tied back. His features are quite chiseled, almost angular, and his eyes a warm brown. His wings are a plain dark brown, but in the light show some red highlights.

Batanel is the most argumentative of the male Grigori in Baraqyal's group, but he clearly means well. He is overly enthusiastic, valuing decisive action above patience, but also worries about interfering too much with humans. Seeming in his early 40s, he is one of the oldest appearing Angels in Baraqyal's group. He has pale skin, light brown long hair, and hazel eyes that flash yellow in the sun. His wings are a very dark brown, with bronzed highlights at the tips.

Jaaiel radiates maternal warmth, and has a calmness to her even while displaying her infectious enthusiasm and excitable nature. She is incredibly likeable, with a sense of innocence that those who know will do anything to protect. Her appearance is of one in her middle years with dusty blond hair that is wavy and about shoulder length, while her eyes are a colourless grey and she has a full face with relatively fine features. Her wings are a chocolate brown with lighter highlights and some greyish brown colouration on their underside.

Jetrel comes across as shy and quiet, but this is largely just in comparison to the more vocal members of her group. She is a petite Angel in her early 30s with violet eyes, long blond hair, and a body that is willowy and shorter than most. Her wings are a medium brown colour with faun and caramel markings.

Appearing in her early 30s, Kashdejan is the unquestionable firebrand of the group, and is always first to put forward her opinion for debate. She has great potential for leadership, but her fiery temperament and impulsive nature tend to get her into trouble. She is muscular and taller than most Angels, with lightly tanned skin and dark red hair that is long and curly. Her face is open, clearly showing emotions as soon as they come to her, and her wings are a colour slightly darker than faun that darken to a burnt umber tinge at the tips.

Pharmoros is Baraqyal's unofficial second-in-command. His quiet nature often hides the fact that he is very self-assured and has strong leadership qualities, even though one could easily believe that he was the opposite of Kashdejan. While being studious and reserved, he will not hesitate if he sees the need for action. Since Creation he was gifted with the power of Sight, having knowledge of probable future events, which is a skill Baraqyal finds invaluable. He is the tallest and oldest Angel among this group, seemingly in his mid 40s, with olive skin, dark brown hair of medium length - which, like Baraqyal's, is often tied back - and having wings coloured in various shades of brown.

Saraknyal is one of the most unassuming of the group, and therefore rarely speaks up to make himself known - especially when Kashdejan and Arakiba are busy doing all the talking. He is a gentle soul who tries to get the most fun and enjoyment out of his existence, and even more than for personal interest in the humans, he volunteered to become a Grigori because he genuinely wanted to interact and help. His appearance is quite startling compared to most Angels, as he has an almost albino-like complexion, pale green eyes, and hair so blond it's practically white. He chooses to appear in his late 20s, which suits his youthful enthusiasm, and he finds a kindred spirit in Jaaiel. His wings, like his hair and skin, are fairer than most Angels, being slightly varying shades of pale grey.

Tiril is quiet almost to the point of being timid, and she seems content to usually follow along with what the other Angels decide, rarely speaking up to voice her own opinion. She has a hesitant nature and prefers to act 'by the book', but trusts that her companions know what they are doing. Her face is markedly angular, with bright blue eyes, and is framed by dark blond hair which is relatively short and straight. Her wings are a mid to dark grey with pale brown shadings.

When they left for Earth Zaquiel was practically Arakiba's twin in appearance and mannerisms. The main differences were that his hair was kept neater, he was slightly less talkative, and that his wings were dark brown with a lighter brown interior. Events on Earth marked him deeply, however, and he became more reclusive and introspective. He is much more of a follower than a leader, but still dislikes it when events or people sweep him along without his control.
